The Insitute of Practical Jokes, Pranks, and Trickery was founded in 2006 and is dedicated to the study and development of practical jokes, pranks, and tricks of all kind.

Our mission is to be the leading repository of information on practical jokes, pranks, and tricks and, though a combination of our own research and user input, to further refine existing jokes and develop increasingly elaborate tricks.

The Institute is divided into several main sections:

Encyclopedia of Practical Jokes, Pranks, and Tricks

This Encyclopedia contains entries of different practical jokes organized alphabetically and by category.  This is not only a resource of the different practical jokes, pranks, and tricks, but each entry contains an explanation of how to execute the joke.  Eventually, users will be able to rank entries in the encyclopedia from 1 to 5.

Student Submissions

Student visiting the Institute for Practical Jokes, Pranks, and Trickery will be able to submit their own entries into the Encyclopedia and submit stories of how the practical jokes, pranks, and tricks listed on the sites worked on their victim.  These stories will be posted for other students to read and build on. This helps to further the mission of developing new jokes and new angles for the practical jokes and tricks already known.

Famous Pranks

This section will have descriptions and stories of famous practical jokes, pranks, and tricks throughout history as well as links to stories about practical jokes, pranks, and tricks in the news.
